I've been here over a hundred times and this meal will never get old. The chorizo taco is also a favorite. If tacos aren't your thing, the tampiquena steak is a great option.

Literally the best tampiquena I've ever had and I've lived in LA and Atlanta. Tender, flavorful, great value for the money. I haven't been able to find a comparable dish anywhere.

Chicken Mole review by Scott
One of my favorite dished at Nuevo. The mole sauce is perfection with all the spices and flavor profiles present. The chicken is tender and moist and with the mole sauce it comes alive. I have had mole at many other restaurants and Nuevo's is the one I always use to judge the others. Of course, no other establishment is equal to the flavor here. I suggest you try the mole here as it is authentic and is simply the best.

I've been coming to Nuevo Laredo since 1997 and the great team here never fail. The mole anything is the best in the city. I order Mole quesadilla and my wife orders mole enchiladas almost every visit. I love they've maintained the feel and quality over the years.

My boyfriend and I ate here Sunday night. The place was packed but we were seated quickly and then, the doors busted open. Standing room only! It was wonderful. Then the food came...I believe this was truly the best Mexican food I have ever had! Everything was fresh made, event the refried beans, and the tortillas! OMG, they were good! . I got Steak Diablo with their wonderful red chili sauce. Fabulous! The service was great, even though the restaurant was crowded. I will be back again and again...well done...well done!!

One of the best bean burritos in the state, authentic, fresh, and just the right balance of cheese and beans. Stack with their salsa and maybe even a little queso if you're feeling it! It does come "enchilada style"
